Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using Habit Planner ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and Ananta Software ("Company", "we", "us"), the developer and owner of Habit Planner.

Ananta Software grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Android device that you own or control, subject to these Terms.

You may:

• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Create and track habits, use the Pomodoro timer, and view analytics
• Customize your profile and preferences within the App

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Extract the source code or create derivative works
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

Habit Planner is a free, ad-supported productivity application that provides:

• Habit Tracking — Create, schedule, and track daily/weekly habits with custom icons and goals
• Pomodoro Timer — Customizable focus sessions with short and long break cycles
• Analytics — Weekly overviews, habit breakdowns, streak tracking, and heatmap visualizations
• App Security — Optional PIN lock and biometric authentication
• Dark Mode — Full dark theme support
• Offline-First — All features work without an internet connection

All data you create within the App — including habits, completion records, timer sessions, profile information, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device.

• Ownership: You retain full ownership of all content you create in the App
• Storage: Data is stored locally using encrypted databases and secure storage
• No backup: We do not provide cloud backup. You are responsible for backing up your device
• Deletion: Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all your data

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or code
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with the normal operation of the App
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with advertising
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it

Habit Planner is a free application supported by advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the App, you agree to:

• The display of advertisements within the App
• Google AdMob's terms of service and privacy policy
• The collection of anonymous advertising identifiers by Google

Advertisements may include interstitial ads, rewarded video ads, native ads, banner ads, and app open ads. Ad frequency is controlled to minimize disruption to your experience.

We do not control the content of third-party advertisements. If you encounter inappropriate ad content, please report it to us at support@anantasoftware.com.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and user interface, is the intellectual property of Ananta Software and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

• The "Habit Planner" name and logo are trademarks of Ananta Software
• The App's design, layout, and visual elements are copyrighted works
• Third-party trademarks referenced in the App belong to their respective owners
• Emoji icons used in the App are provided by the device's operating system

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Ananta Software does not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any defects or errors will be corrected
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions
• Data stored by the App will be preserved in all circumstances

Habit Planner is a habit tracking tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice. Any health-related habits you track are your personal responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ananta Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, habits, or streak records
• Loss of productivity or time
• Device damage or malfunction
• Unauthorized access to your device or data
• Interruption of service
• Any content displayed through third-party advertisements

In no event shall Ananta Software's total liability exceed the amount you have paid to use the App, which for the free version is zero ($0).

Since Habit Planner stores all data locally on your device:

• We cannot restore data lost due to device failure, theft, or damage
• Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all data
• Factory resetting your device will erase all App data
• Using the "Delete All Data" feature in the App is irreversible
• Forgetting your PIN and choosing "Reset Everything" will erase all data

You acknowledge and accept these risks by using the App. We recommend maintaining regular device backups.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon uninstallation, all your data will be permanently deleted.

Ananta Software reserves the right to:

• Discontinue the App or any of its features at any time
• Modify, update, or remove content from the App
• Remove the App from distribution platforms

These Terms will remain in effect until terminated by either party.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, discontinue use and uninstall the App.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
