Habit Planner is a habit tracking and Pomodoro timer application developed by Ananta Software. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
🔒 Core Promise: Habit Planner is designed as a local-first application. All your personal habit data, timer sessions, and profile information are stored exclusively on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any external server.
Data Collection
Data we DO NOT collect:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identification
- Your habit data, completion records, or streak information
- Your Pomodoro timer sessions or focus statistics
- Your profile picture or bio information
- Your PIN, fingerprint data, or any security credentials
- Your location, contacts, or phone data
- Any health or fitness related information
Data that may be collected by third-party services:
- Anonymous advertising identifiers (by Google AdMob)
- Anonymous crash reports and app performance data (by Google Play Services)
- General device information such as device model, OS version, and screen size (by advertising SDKs)
⚠️ We do not have access to, control over, or store any data collected by third-party advertising services. Please refer to their respective privacy policies listed in Section 4.
Data Storage
All user-generated data is stored locally on your device using the following technologies:

Your data is never uploaded to any cloud server, synced across devices, or shared with Ananta Software or any third party. If you uninstall the app, all data is permanently deleted from your device.
Third-Party Services
Habit Planner uses the following third-party services that may independently collect data:
- Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data for ad personalization. Google Privacy Policy
- Google Play Services — for app distribution and core Android functionality. Google Privacy Policy
- Android Biometric API — for fingerprint authentication. Biometric data is processed entirely by the Android operating system and is never accessible to Habit Planner.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party service providers.
Advertising
Habit Planner displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob to support the free availability of the app. The types of ads shown include:
- Interstitial ads — shown after completing focus sessions
- Rewarded video ads — optional, watched by user choice to unlock detailed insights
- Native ads — displayed within the analytics section
- Banner ads — shown during habit creation
- App open ads — shown on cold app launch
You may opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
App Permissions
Habit Planner requests the following permissions:

No permission is used to collect or transmit personal data. The INTERNET permission is used solely for loading advertisements.
Children's Privacy
Habit Planner is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since all data is stored locally on the device, no child data is transmitted to us.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through the app's third-party ad services, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Security
We take the security of your data seriously:
- Local storage only — No data leaves your device
- Encrypted PIN storage — App lock PINs are hashed with SHA-256 and stored in Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences using AES-256-GCM encryption backed by Android Keystore
- Biometric authentication — Processed by Android's hardware-backed biometric system; the app never accesses raw fingerprint data
- No cloud sync — Eliminates the risk of server-side data breaches
- No account system — No passwords, emails, or credentials to compromise
Your Rights
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Access — All your data is visible within the app at all times
- Deletion — Use Settings → Privacy → Delete All Data to erase everything, or simply uninstall the app
- Portability — Your data exists only on your device
- Opt-out of ads — Adjust personalization in Android Settings → Google → Ads
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), you retain all rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For users in California, you retain all rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
If we make significant changes to how we handle data, we will provide a prominent notice within the app.
