Privacy Policy — Peg Solitaire

This Privacy Policy explains how Ananta Software ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game Peg Solitaire (the "App"). We have designed the App to be privacy-respecting: the App itself does not require an account, does not ask you for personal details, and stores your game progress only on your own device. The primary way information is processed is through the third-party advertising service described below.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, contacts, photos, precise location, or any account credentials. The App has no login or registration.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To make the game work, the App saves the following locally on your device only, using Android's on-device storage. This data does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us:

Your game progress, including your highest level reached, current and best win streaks, total wins, and best move count.
An in-progress Classic game, so you can resume where you left off.
Your settings, such as the selected board theme and whether sound and music are muted.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, including:

Your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID).
Device and technical information, such as device model, operating system version, language, and general (coarse) location inferred from your IP address.
Information about your interaction with ads (for example, ad views and clicks), used to serve ads, limit repetition, measure performance, and detect invalid activity.

This processing is carried out by Google, not by us. We do not receive your Advertising ID or the personal data Google processes for advertising. To understand and control how Google uses this data, please review:

You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your device settings, typically under Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by device).

4. Consent for Users in the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland

Where required by law, users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland may be shown a consent message regarding the use of their data for advertising before personalized ads are served, in accordance with applicable regulations and Google's consent requirements. You may change your choice through the App's privacy options where available.

5. Permissions Used

INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — required to load advertisements.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID — allows access to the Advertising ID for advertising, as required on newer Android versions.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps. Advertising in the App is handled by Google AdMob subject to its policies.

7. Data Security and Retention

Because game data is stored only on your device, its security is tied to your device's own protections. Advertising data is retained and secured by Google in accordance with its policies. We do not maintain a server-side copy of your game data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not hold personal data about you, most such requests relating to advertising should be directed to Google. You can delete all data the App stores locally at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, within the App or its store listing. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
